im lesbian myself and i broke up with my girlfriend after being together 6 years, so i know how u feel. i dont think its any different for a gay couple or a straight couple when they break up. it will take time but u will get over it, there are plenty more fish in the sea! xx

Any relationship dealing with the heart is hard to get over but you do what you have to, and that is move on. Life is about change and taking chances so take that leap and find a new love.

any relationship is hard to get over, but if you dwell on it and don't do anything but think about it it will be rougher. i had a friend who mourned a 6 yr relationship gone bad by spending 2 more yrs thinking about it and crying over wasting 6 yrs of her life but she never metions the two she spends crying over it, mean while her ex has gotten married.

SAme way its probably hard for heterosexuals to get over a relationship. There's nothing extra special making it extra hard just b/c you like vagina. YOu'll get over it eventually.

I don't know why are any relationships hard to get over, it doesn't make it any harder or easier because yall are the same sex, emotions and feelings donot discriminate

Because girls are pretty special.

I've got one I'm not quite over yet, and that was 7 years ago. We've both married men and moved on. She's still so cute and lovable.

Because now you're totally screwed. You thought you'd find what you were looking for in a woman, but now you know you're wrong. Now you're contemplating going straight.
