My Catholic mother-in-law told me this. She said the pope said 3 was the time to pray for miracles because that was the hour Christ died. I asked her if it was 3 pm or 3 am. I mean, I think 3 am my time would be closer to 3 pm in the Middle East. She said either, so long as it was 3. But it’s 3 somewhere all the time isn’t it?
Sorry, not trying to be irreverent to Catholics, but I’ve never read anything in the Bible that suggests one time for praying is better than another. I think we’re supposed to pray for all things at all times.

being catholic i looked at Fatihs asnwer closely and then back at the qeustion - not knowing the film, i've no clue if it had Catholic connotations so.... faith - no harm no foul. ; ) we've all had people in our lives that remember things that no o ne else does - i sure did!
i've never heard of that and trust me, in my family that's something i'd have heard! the only thing i can think is -agreeing with the others about the 3 o'clock for Christs death. but maybe also the 3 in the God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. maybe 3 because at that time people were not working - taking the time at the height of the day to come in from the weather and people then were praying more?

Who are THEY? Do you actually think Jesus made sure that it was three o'clock to perform a miracle? Get real.

maybe because they say 3rd try is the charm. and a film or movie is usually fiction unless it based on true story . and if u mean three in the morning then u are asleep just like the other person said .

Because it's always been customary for all miracles to be posted at 3PM the next business day. Has something to do with computers or something or other.
