Or, you can get the free version, OpenOffice.
It is just as good, or equal to MS Office. I say this as a fairly advanced word/excel/powerpoint user.
It's set up nearly the same as MSOffice, and doesn't take much time to adjust. It can open/edit normal MS extentions (.doc, .ppt, etc.), and can save in that format aswell.

Microsoft offers trail ware on all of its office products uselly for 90 days or more. You could even try out the newer Office 2007 package.

Legally you have to buy them.... or you can download and use OpenOffice for free.
OpenOffice can create and open Word, Excel and Powerpoint files.

if you don't want to buy or spend money, then get the alternative....Open Office, it work just as same as Microsoft Office and it's free.
