i've been dating this guy for less than a month, we started going out on sep 13. he's rlly nice but he's a lot diff than i thought and not rlly my type. he comes over and sits with me he 2nd half of lunch but we dont talk and if we're on the phone we both just kinda sit there. its always been like that and although we have a lot of stuff in common we two totally diff ppl with diff personalities, he's way too high strung for me and not as into sports as me and that bothers me cuz i love them and want someone who does too. i dont know how to break up with him cuz i dont wanna like hurt him rlly bad or anything. its been less than a month and less than a week since homecoming and i dont want him to think i used him cuz he paid for everything, but he's kinda starting to annoy me and i want out. how can i do it???
and the one person i kinda like now is good friends with him but i think he likes me (or did anyway) so how long should i wait before i approach him or anyone, a month or so..

Tell him now. You don't want to drag it out, DEFINATELY not. If you drag it out then he may become more attracted to you and get even more hurt later. It's dishonest. I am sure he will understand, just explain it to him and if he feels that you used him, pay him back. Just let him know you should have gotten to know each other better first and that you are 2 completely different people. If he doesn't understand, then he is a jerk.

Break up with him already! It will hurt him far more for you to drag on with this unloving relationship than if you just break up with him. And be honest and tell him that you do not think he is your type. It is so irritating to hear a girl give all kinds of excuses for breaking up when the real reason is that she does not like the guy. And yes, it is very annoying for a girl to go out with the guy's friends right after she breaks up with him. So think twice before you do that. Anyway, good luck!

Well its his fault and your fault that your relantionship isnt working out, but the only thing is to just tell him that you and him arent communcation with each other well enough, and that shouldnt put you down, just move on are you will regret not moving on after...
