No, but the Quran bear witnesses to this realization:
[9:97] The Arabs are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and the most likely to ignore the laws that GOD has revealed to His messenger. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.

[9:98] Some Arabs consider their spending (in the cause of God) to be a loss, and even wait in anticipation that a disaster may hit you. It is they who will incur the worst disaster. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient.

[9:99] Other Arabs do believe in GOD and the Last Day, and consider their spending to be a means towards GOD, and a means of supporting the messenger. Indeed, it will bring them nearer; GOD will admit them into His mercy. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

She should go to Asia, The Americas, and the West to see how
great Islam is. She went to the worse possible region to learn about Islam. I'm Muslim and can tell you they are not following the Quran or the Sunnah, that's probably the worst country to learn about Islam. Seriously...... If I have learn about Islam their, I would have never had the desire to be Muslim. Sometimes to see if something is good or bad, you have to go to the primary source, The Quran. Many Muslims are aware that many Middle Eastern Countries are not following the tenets of Islam.

There was a Western who was married to a Muslim, and converted only after her divorce when she got learn and practice the real Islam and not the perverted and adulterated view on Islam her husband tried to teach her.

The Quran says that when an Arab is misguided, he will be worse of the disbelivers among anyone from other nations. THis is not because of his race, it is because of the Universal Law:
Since Prophethood was last to come to them, they will have more anger sent down to them because they are more aware and had the most recent oppurtunity to be peaceful and guided on Earth.

Haven't even heard of it. Interesting, though, to speak of how religion affects a society. Look at Hinduism in India. They have poor starving people dying of hunger worshipping a herd of cows down the street. They are inflicted with disease from all the rats running around (they worship them, too).
