It's the focus that matters, my friend. If you are really interested, train yourself to completely ignore thoughts about sex. We guys are trained to think that that is the focus by this society.
The irony is the best way to win the heart of a girl is put your attention COMPLETELY on her. It's fun, and it happens to work. Ask her a lot of questions about herself, and be genuinely interested.
Above all, as many of the others have said, be for real. If you are for real and she decides she doesn't want you, just let her go. There are others who will like you being real.
Oh, and be ready to be afraid... A great guy once said to me, if you aren't mildly afraid of women then you are dead or lying.

First tell her how she dazzles you and then take her ballroom dancing at a classy restaurant. Tell her how great she looks and treat her like a lady with a touch of class. Make her feel special. Be a nice guy, strong, but tender and a good listener.

# one thing always be your self. Tell her she's pretty and MEAN it. If your going to say that you love her MEAN it. Bring her flowers candy. The old fashion kind of stuff. Be sweet and I think most importantly be funny.

a girl always loves a kind, nice, and handsome guy. you should tell her some coments about her eyes or how she smells (as long as it is a good smell) or something like that

I'd say first introduce yourself, get acquainted then ask her what her interests are including sports, then you have "things" to work with, like asking her to games, etc.
