If by America, you mean north and south America, and by Christianity you mean any religion that believes the basics about who Jesus was and what He did, then the Spanish brought it here in the late 1400's.
But as for who brought actual Biblical Christianity here, I'm not totally sure. It may have come with the English settlers in Roanok (spelling) or Jamestown. It may have come later with the Pilgrims. Or perhaps it came earlier along with some of the Spanish, French, or Portugese. And it may have even come with the Vikings, though I don't know if the Vikings of the time of Leif Erikson were Christian, or still pagan.
I can't give you a definitive answer, but hopefully this will give you some leads, and will help you to research it. God bless!

There were two groups. The ones who landed at Jamestown ,Virginia, and much more sucessfully, the Pilgrims who came over on the Mayflower in 1620.Later the Puritans came over and kind of stiffened things up,with their white collars and buckle shoes.
The Mayflower Pilgrims, did not belong to the Church of England hence were outcasts. They went to Holland and then to America. My relative William Bradford was the 1rst Governor of the Colony. They were very friendly with the Indians and Chief Massasoit became Bradfords best buddy.

Leif Erikson's father, Erik the Red, was pagan. His mother was Christian and convinced Erik to build the first Christian church in Greenland.
Leif Erikson, like his mother, was Christian. He and the other members of his expedition were the first Christians to visit the Americas.

The Pilgrims most probably. Christopher Columbus was here first, but he may not have been a Christian. He was Catholic in the 15th century. It would be debatable.

easy one. the first people to discover america (not christopher columbus by the way) were the vikings, but the first people to inhabit and start new cultures were european (italian to be exact) travlers lead by amerigo vespucci.
they did happen to be christian, but did they spread christianity all over? the answer is no. they started braches of their religion in where they inhabited.
the main answer is, during our 13 colony stage, engalnd enforces christianty and belonging to the church of england. therefore, they had the largest impact of the religion.
hope i helped.

You know what the incredibly ironic thing is? It's the same people who brought Islam to America! ;-)
Of course I'm sure if they could see the future and how it is spreading, they would have increased the quest to convert them all to massa's faith, lol.
