Wow..there's actually a lot of provinces (and territories) made up of both islands and mainland:
Newfoundland & Labrador
Nova Scotia (& Cape Breton)
British Columbia has Vancouver Island
If you want to know, Both the Nunavut and Northwest Territories have many, many islands.

That would be British Columbia its alone the West coast of Canada and part of it is called Vancouver Island. Dont get it mixed up with the City of Vancouver which is on the mainland. The Capitol of BC is Victoria which is on Vancouver Island. Check it out in an Atlas. It is a very pretty part of Canada

Several provinces are part on the mainland and part on an island. Newfoundland has Labrador on the mainland, but is itself an island. BC is mostly mainland but has many islands, including Vancouver. Quebec is also mainly mainland but has islands (such as the island of Montreal). Most of the other maritime provinces have islands. PEI is an island.

Many provinces are made up of mainland and islands. Now does that mean islands in the ocean or in lakes, cause then it would in fact be all the provinces except PEI I think.

let's see you are being specific.... PEI is the only province not associated with the mainland - Soooo that is the only one I can think of that would not be counted. All the other provinces have lakes don't they? with islands don't they? I know I've told already today (yes I'm being a smart ***)
