would you live by the same moral code you do now?

From the responses I received in my last question ("Life and after-life, reward and punishment?"), the answer would be yes.

If so, would you agree that morality and god are not exclusive?

I once believed that God was just an imaginary friend for grown-ups. You know, the one you blame your failures on, the one you thank for your limited successes, the one you hope will support you in times of doubt and weakness. I believe that there is good and bad in every person, and that we are all inured with the ability to choose our own paths. I was raised a Catholic, which is probably the most proven formula to totally screw someone up for life. Anyway, I guess my thoughts on this subject still follow my old ways of thinking. I don't really know what I think about God at this point in my life, but, I still strive to be a good person and try to be a positive influence in the lives of others. Who knows, it might prove useful some day.

Actually without the notion of God we dont exist. We cant, as I've stated before it is impossible by scientific standards to evolve from nothing. With no infinite values in science and everything having a cause and effect then how do you justify your own state of existence when you say it evolved from nothing? So morality and God are always exclusive since everything evolved from God. If you disagree, then please explain to me in a scientific hypothesis how we came from nothing when we see everything in science having a cause and effect?

That is a hard one to answer because most of the morals people follow are christian based morals.

there is no such thing as christian based moral. they are all normal morals that doesnt need a god to do.

i guess christians will become criminals since most say that atheists live a pessimistic life, since there is no afterlife (which is untrue)

Morals are God made not man made so I guess I'd try to do what I thought was right.

That's really not a question that can be answered. That's like asking if you'd be the same person now if you were born to a different set of parents.
