It is Spring. We lived there for several years. By December the temperatures will be up in the 90's for most of the areas down there. Seasons are just opposite to North America. Equator stays pretty much the same year round.

The seasons are pretty much opposite. At this point, I would venture to say that they are starting to warm up if they are very far south of the equator. If they are closer to the equator, it is already pretty warm.
Another interesting fact. The water circles the drain in the opposite direction on the other side of the equator.
