I've got to this conclusion when I see questions put to vote the atheists always have the best answer if they are put with Christians or others...also from my previous Qs most the answeres were atheists.

No. Most atheists have studied various religions and found that none of them measured up; atheism is usually a conscious choice, and most atheists are quite well-informed about religion. Aside from that, a good number of them certainly have a spirituality.

What is wierd about being aethist or agnostic? I am a born hindu and have been that way until i grew up enough to read and know more about religions. My parents were spiritual but werent very religious. They went to temples on religious festival times like 3 to 4 times a year and most of the time i would be either studying for exams or i would give some lame excuse to not to join them to temples. I was never into it from childhood and my parents never forced me into it.

SO as i grew up and learnt more about the religions of the world i thought why would be in sitiuation where i have to chose one religion when every single religion out there preaches pretty much the same and very beautiful. So i decided to be agnostic which means i just done belive in the existence of GOD as jesus, allah, krishana but i do belive that there is one supernatural power which created this universe and put everthing in action.

First, unless you've actually done a poll, you have no way of knowing how many R&S users are atheists/agnostics. It's true there are a lot of us, but a majority? Maybe; maybe not.

Second, take a look around: Religion is everywhere. It seems only fair that everybody gets to have an opinion about it.

Yes, I do find it strange, because atheists are not qualified to talk about religion. If they had a PhD in history of religions or something like that, maybe. But when someone asks a question about religion from a personal standpoint, not a scholarly one, even a PhD doesn't help.

No. The religious in this world are a plague and a pox that needs to be excised from the world so that we can move on as a species. Some of the individual followers are pretty freaking awesome, but most are just plain idiots.

Consider my being here recon for the war of ideas.

Its the same everywhere...people found a place, not to discuss about common interests and beliefs, but to attack people with different ones instead. If you go to the gay and lebian section it is infested by homophobics bashing the homosexuals.
I am an atheist, but I am not here to attack anyone, I am here to prove my point and make some extreme atheists shut up and stop being so rude no matter what others believe.
Peace!

I wouldn't say most, what's your source on that?
In any case, people come here because they're interested in religion or spirituality. That includes pretty much every atheist I know, so it's not really strange at all.

Actually this is not true. I can't remember who it was, but last week they took a poll of the sections regulars, and they showed that the Atheists are outnumbered by two members. Maybe someone else can help with a link?

Not really. I'm agnostic. I just look though "all categories". Something interesting pops up and I'm there. I'm "spirtiual" even if I don't follow a specific God. My wife is athiest, and I'd say she is spiritual too. Plus, we've both studied many different kinds of religion, so we have an interest in it.

This is Religion & Spirituality. One does not have to be affiliated with a religion to be spiritual.
From what I have observed on my many visits here, the Christians seem to be the majority.
