Im making fried rice and just noticed im out of chicken stock, could i use the little chicken packets out of 2 min noodles instead is it the same?? HELP!!

They'll be salty but will do in a pinch. Rehydrate them with 1-2 cups water like bouillon (sp??). Do you have veggie stock on hand? You might try that.

Those little chicken packets will add a nasty flavor to the rice.

Simply use water and add herbs and spices (whatever you have), the two are interchangeable (stock and water). The stock gives a richer flavor, so that's why you add the herbs when just using water..

you don't need stock to make fried rice.

yes i do the same thing, i mix it first with water and then add it does make it more salty, but you can water it down a little...........
