There was a question asked earlier with some not so nice words attached. This guy never said he was christian, yet most responses to the question accused him of being so. Is this not stereotyping as well? Why is it when someone says they believe in God, they automatically think the God of Christianity? Are people so biased against a certain group that they, instead of answering a question logically, like to jump to conclusions and accuse others? I didnt think this was how grown ups acted!

you said the guy was using "not so nice words" is not a very good person....the work CHRISTIAN means they are saying there Christ like....and this person is not....allot of people in here do claim there "Christians" ...there always bashing the people that don't believe as they do....I am just happy being a Wiccan....we believe in many Gods and Goddess and NOOOOO we do not sacrifice anything.......you will never see a Wiccan going on about how good of our religion is, or cutting down any other religion ....or going door to door handing out pamphlets with pointless gibber jabber and blah blah in it ......the most that anyone can assume is.....there alive ..........blessed be )O(

They will know we are Christians by our love.

With out love you are nothing 1 Corinthians 13:2

It is important to be a witness and a light with what you write on this post.

Most people believe in God many are not sold out for Jesus you are right there is a difference. Pray for the person who offended you and others.

I'm not sure I've seen the question to which you refer, and I would not wish to be seen as defending the actions of those who made the assumption, but most of us are in Christian-dominated countries, so it does make sense that Christianity would be the most likely religion for someone claiming to believe in God.

G-d

You're not Muslim or you would have said Allah (foobar)

You didn't say Krishna or Sihiva or Dharma

What does that leave!

I am not sure everyone on YA is necessarily a grown up.

But yes, I have noticed that many of the vocal atheists seem to have no idea that Protestant Fundamentalism is simply one of many religions.

To an atheist, a believer in god is pretty much the same, regardless of which label you wish to apply to it. It's still irrational.

I only assume someone is a Christian if they mention Jesus as their Lord. Good Luck! :)
