This is more a history question than a religion and spirituality question.

It would be too easy to assume that it is only because people cannot conceive of such a horrendous number of people being killed. However, it was extremely well-documented, and there are still survivors. I have heard a couple of them speak and have read some of the books written about it. Also John Ford photographed much of what remained when the concentration camps were finally liberated. I suspect that there is such a thing as "lying spirits" who have reached the minds of some people, so that they do not believe thousands of witnesses and all the physical evidence.

Their reasoning is anti-Semitism due to a poor parental upbringing. They don't have the will to love Jews and feel sympathy and empathy, so they'd rather deny the unfortunate deaths of six million Jews, and million of other minorities. It's strange, seing how Holocaust deniers claim the Holocaust to be a Jewish hoax. I guess they don't realize that the other five million people systematically murdered weren't Jewish.

Undermine Israeli sentiment. The president of Iran is back on his blog today... after being absent for two months. Check it out. He attempts to make his case, but is propaganda to a nation that has limited outside perspective. As far as I know, the rest of the world does not dispute the evidence.
