How about a nice Mommy and Me gift?
But, I would focus on your sister on her special day. Get her something just for her.

I am a Mother and let me tell you what I could have used...they have spa packages for mothers to be, that would be very relaxing and the good thing is she can go now while shes pregnant. If not a spa package for a Mother to be, get a spa package for after she has the baby; or a pedicure and manicure would be nice, because it is for her; or some of those comfy massaging house shoes, I saw some at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Just a few suggestions :) I hope they are some help!!

Get her some sort of spa package. Mothers get so much stuff for the baby, it's nice to get somthing for the mother once in awhile. If you think that she would be interested, go to a local spa and hook her up with a day of pampering while your watch your new niece or nephew.
Or if you dont think she would like that, maybe like a gift certificate to a fancy restruant so her and her husband (if there is one) can go out and still keep the romance in the relationship, we all know that can be hard with a new baby. Maybe you can watch the baby for the night or somthing.

it depends on several factors. #1 being, is your sister planning on being a 100% no bottle breast feeder? if so, then getting her a day at the spa or something similar might be difficult. however, you could offer to clean the house, buy her a bath set, ( spounges, gels, oils, the works) and at least offer to watch your new neice/nephew while she has a nice relaxing hot luxiourious bath. let her get a nap in, ect. I've been there, done that, ( going on the 4th time now) and as simple as it sounds, after having a baby, even something that simple feels like someone just sent you on a week long cruise.

I understand this feeling, my daughter was born 3 days before my birthday. Watching the baby to give her some much needed rest is always nice, also give her a gift certificate to a spa, manicure, pedicure. Something she can use to pamper herself. Lots of luck and congrats on your niece or nephew.

When I came across this problem I thought about it for awhile and came up with a Baby Book. Mother's love to record what their babies do and many don't have a Baby Book and they lose all those little notes. A Baby Book is perfect for NEW MOMMY.
Congratulations New Auntie. Good Luck !!!

Mine is due 6 days before my birthday..... I would love a spa treatment or a pedi or something. Would be nice to relax after giving birth. That is just what I would want. I am sure she would appreciate any gift you got her.
