Tell me, does the sun really set in a muddy sea?
According to Sura 18:86, the sun literally sets into a muddy spring or a black sea here on Earth and Sura 18:90 mentions a specific place on Earth where the sun rises.
Is that "truth?"

LMAO!!!
Islam MIGHT be the false religion of Revelation. But its denial of the true nature of Jesus in the face of both old and new testement Scriptures assures that it cannot be the 'real' religion.
Besides, how can it be 'real' when it SAYS that it agrees with Scripture when in fact it denies so many major principals? There is a creature who is called the Father of Lies. He could easily claim to be Gabriel. How would Mohammed (PBUH) have possibly known the difference?
Dang, Larry! Even *I* didn't read THAT treatise! And I agree with your general point!

Seems pretty similar to Judaism and Christianity. Why would I trust the Qur'an over say, the bible, the vedas, or any other text?
Sorry, it doesn't work for christians, and it doesn't work for you...
In regards to "Judith"... What person are you talking about? Did you do any research or just start spouting random stuff that you heard about Muhammad and then expect them to be fact. Muhammad did marry a nine year old girl, though this was purely a political manuevre, and he did not see her after the wedding for years. Also, no caravans were butchered, two people were killed by a muslim raid. After this incident, Muhammad removed the commander responsible for the killings and replaced him with someone who he thought would act more, careful. He did not conquer any city but Mecca, and he was bound to fight mecca by a diplomatic agreement he had reached to protect another arab tribe. There is no record of any rape from Muhammad, and he only fought against the people who had tried to exterminate his people and then go on to invade his people's territory. What he said was nuts?
Do some research, it will help peace grow between Muslims and Christians, I reccomend starting here: http://www.amazon.com/Muhammad-Biography-Prophet-Karen-Armstrong/dp/0062508865/sr=8-2/qid=1160093201/ref=sr_1_2/104-6296958-2378302?ie=UTF8&s=books
It's not written by a muslim...

Islam is a cult based on the rantings of a violent rapist.
Come on, think for a minute! can you actually say the man did anythinggood? he killed men so he could screw their wives, he deflowered a 9 year old, he sent his troops to butcher whole caravans of people so he could 'confiscate' their tradegoods. He lied, he stole, he raped, and he had people killed on a whim. To mention nothing of the way he thought women should be treated. If his body could be exhumed, I'd bet he was suffering from syphilis just from some of the things he said

The answers above show how people can be so certain and defensive about uncertain things. They swear about their unproven dogmas, they will become irate when questioned.
On a larger scale, look at what is happening around the world today.
We are overpopulated with uneducated people brainwashed with dogmas and false gods. Nobobody is interested in peace and reality

I do not believe that Islam is true.
I do not believe the Koran is the word of Allah. It is the work of Mohamed who said it was the word of Allah. Mohamed lied.

Thank you for asking my opinion of Islam.
Islam's book, the Koran, is the raving of a madman named Mohammed who heard strange voices during epileptic siezures. He called the voices allah. In reality, it was Satan speaking to him. Mohamed was a murderer, thief and a pedophile.
The Koran is full of errors, conflicting Suras and has been rewritten so many times it cannot be trusted.
Thanks for asking my opinion.
