The North of England is always said to be the friendliest, and Cumbria in particular - but you shouldn't bother coming here because we Cumbrians are friendly tolerant people and wouldn't even SAY 'poofter' - never mind infer exclusion!
Cumbria is gay friendly.

Oh well, I won't bother going to Cumbria if it's queer friendly.
However, The friendliest people are probably found all over the country, in the graveyards. They never disagree with you, you can stay as long as you like, you can smoke in their presence.
However, they tend to be rather uninformative, they don't make you a cuppa and sex is right out (you might call it dead boring :-) ).

the friendliest people in britain are the chinesse students at the university of central lancs. however to find friendly brits all you need to do is go abroad and find an ex-pat bar, there you will find every brit (yes even scots included) are incredibly friendly. it's odd that we're only freindly when when we're not home.

In my humble experience there are nice people all over Britain (Scotland, Wales and the other place, eh, England, that is it). But for truly brilliant human beings you will have to go to the large island off the west coast of Britain; Ireland. Mmm home of yours truly. If your coming, get in touch.

Cornwall. There a little odd when you first meet them, but that's because they are protecting their territory, but once you get to know them you will have a friend for life. Their loyalty is exceptional, and they would help you out with anything. I am being slightly biased, as I'm Cornish, however, they are beautiful people, and you just need to look beyond their eccentricity
