It's pissing me off... She looked so beautiful today... A few times she's said how funny he is or that she "loves him", but she says that about lots of people... We're good friends and I'm really scared and nervous. I've never been in a relationship before (I'm still in High School). What should I do???

So I see... How should I ask her out without feeling like a fool afterwards? Should i go out with her as friends first?

Honestly, the best way to go about this is to have CONFIDENCE in yourself. Don't worry about tactics or charm or even football skills. If she goes for the guy, odds are it won't last long. It's high school. I've been in a few relationships before, and the best thing I can tell you from a girl's perspective is to be happy with yourself and be true to her. Be a good friend. When you KNOW the timing is right, let her know you might have stronger feelings for her. Make sure you're mature enough to know that if she's not feeling you like that, keep the friendship. I can promise you I've got a lot more friendships still going on than relationships. That's just the way it goes, love.

Best of luck!!

Well, perhaps you could also try out for the football team.

Also, if you are friends, do you really want to screw it up by trying for more? Give it time, the school year is long...sweetest day is coming up in a couple of weeks, don't forget about that, okay? Write her a nice poem - if you have money, buy her a small yet thoughtful gift.

Tell her how you feel, and be sweet. Don't over do it, but be straigh foward. Maybe she keeps talking about this guy to get a response out of you. Maybe she likes you and is too scared to speak up, so she is trying to get you to first. You will never know unless you talk to her about it openly.

How she might, or might not feel about someone else is not important at this point. If you like her, you should ask her out (but word it in a way that she knows that your not asking her out as "just friends") No use at getting pissy at any one but yourself if you don't even ask.

Dude relax and play it cool, if you like her tell her....if she likes someone else it was meant to be that you guys are friends. and sorry to break it to ya once college starts.....keeping in touch with her may be tough depending on schools....highschool friends are rare to keep and college friends are cool as hell..just relax and have fun...don't jump on the drama train because it is not worth it.
