to God as without saying God? I am trying to find a name that embodies nothingness. Any ideas.

In Taoism God is refered to as T'ien.

Can't mention god at all? Where did you hear this? I tend to hear stuff like this from christians and jews, but atheists?

I often refer to Jesus as "Easy Cheese". I often refer to the Holy Spirit as "The Grape Nut". More often than not, I refer to God as, "The Little Squishy Duck." Although, I have been known to refer to God as "The TupperWare Party."

Your higher power. You point out that it is theirs not yours it has no name and obviously, everyone has a different one. That usually gets more comments though. Why is it that you shouldn't say God, even if you aren't a parent you can say children, even if you aren't an employer you can say employee, and even if you aren't a dog you can say puppies.
