Tag! or Hallo! or Guten Tag! or Gru(umlaut)B dich!, Guten Morgen! is more formal though. (I don't know how to get that B like symbol, but I guess you can always write 'ss' intstead.) Good Luck!

Babelfish is okay for the general idea for stuff, but it is in no way the last word. You'd be better off finding someone who knows what they're talking about.

hello=na
how are you (everything allright?)= alles klar?
germany use it rather often,b ut thats more colloqual
