These are normal side effects. For most people, they will get better between days 7 and 10. You can take it at bedtime, but just take it at the same time every day. Take with food to avoid the nausea, and exercise and fluids will help the constipation. Both of those side effects should also improve after 7 to 10 days.

I took paxil a while ago and had no ill side effects, but each person is different. You may need a different type of medication. A friend tried 4 different things before she found something that was right for her, and she ended up with Prozac, which I had also tried. She really liked that, but I thought it was useless. Keep trying things until you find what works for you....good luck!

i am on paxil now getting closer to a 2nd week. it takes 3 weeks for it to start working! before i left my doctors office he did warn me i might feel drowsy and sleepy but not so much so i guess everyone is different. i just have water crawing and drink a lot of it ( dry mouth) and i was also told to drink it after breakfast to avoid nausea and it works. i was also told that if it interfered with my daily routines ( sleepydrowsy) i shld start drinking it in the evening and then switch to mornings as it it supposed to be taken. if this bothers you try talking to your doctor but i think it will go away soon :)
best of luck to you :)

Contrary to what Tom Cruise says above me, Paxil is not evil. It's a God send.
Your body is probably just getting used to it. If the symptoms last more than 2 weeks, ask your doctor if it's normal. Good luck.... I hope it works out for you.

I would yawn constantly and then during oral I could not get any effect. It sucked so I switched to prozac.

Yes this sounds about right, take some fiber to. Fiber is also good to help fight colon problems.
Be sure to keep your doctor informed.
