it's because it gets burnt from the heat.
you should get a cream made to protect your hair from heat-styling tools.
also, make sure to use conditioner, and deep condition once a week to keep it healthy.
and trim it frequently.
ggod luck!

Well, I'm not a pro or anything, but when "my" hair gets dry like that? I buy a hot oil treatment, and use it about once every week and a half. You don't have to get VO5 either, or an expensive brand. Go to Wal-mart and in "that" section, you'll see the generic brand "and" it works just as well as the other. Okay, take the tube of hot oil treatment and put it in a cup of hot water for 2 minutes. Take it out and saturate your hair , leaving it on for about 2-4 minutes. Then wash your hair, rinse, and wash again. And POOF! just like that, your hair will feel great! I promise. (It's for guys & girls...okay?) Hope that answered your question. good luck

T make it smoother it out you have to use a brush while blow drying and a hot iron after wards if you want it really smooth. Now your blow drying does cause frizz, broken ends, so you need trims often. Conditioners are good, leave in and let hair dry naturally now and then. Let it rest! Good luck.

Also, do u blow dry with hot air? Try changing the setting to medium or low and hold it further away from hair. It'll take slightly longer, but will burn out hair a lot less.

They actually have all sorts of products that you can put in your hair while you blow dry it. It is the blow dryer itself that puts the strain on your hair to make it dry like that. It isn't healthy to do it all the time because it breaks your hair.

hair dryers are bad for the hair, they fry the ends, go to the beauty salon and ask the girls for something to put in you hair to make it look healthy and not so dryed out, they will be able to help. They won't look at you like you are goofy either. Many guys do this. The best product I used is called Biosilk.

Sometimes just conditioner in the shower isn't enough. They have leave-in conditioner products you can put in your hair while or after blow drying to make it soft and silky.

Well, if you want to fix your dry hair, I suggest you use Garnier Fruitis Hair Shampoo for Dry Hair. (Garnier is very great, it has a great smell too and comes in many selections, from normal shampoo and conditioner to fix dry hair and for colored hair. )These products have chemicals that will make your hair feel slick and shiney, also feel normal.

Remember, Garnier Fruitis - Dry Hair

My hair is dry also after drying. Like myself, your hair is probably coarse. Conditioner really helps this. You can also spray on a slicker shine which really makes it soft and shiney like Pure Shine Spray on Luminator or Citrus Shine.
