Pizza is actually not that bad for you. Of course, it depends on what you top it with,and if it is thick crust versus thin etc., The crust is carb. Lower that by getting a thin one. Sauce is tomato based, and that is healthy. Veggies and some cheese are perfect. The high fat pepperoni or other meats (sausage, etc) are high in fat...lower that by having canadian bacon and tomatoes, or pineapple, or an all veggie pizza.
Not a bad choice at all--and you have the power to make it even healthier! Good eating !!

It really depends on your pizza. If you are making it at home, or getting it from a mom and pop type place, it isn't that bad. The cheese is what is really doing you in. If you like pepperoni, that's not great either. If you stick to veggie toppings, you are doing better. It is debatable about the bread crust, depending on your carb beliefs. Making it at home is best since you know what goes into it. Fewer preservatives= fewer bad things!

I often wonder if your body gets use to foods if you eat them all the time... my biggest weakness is muffins. Yes I know they are referred to as fat bombs but I have eaten them every single day for nearly 20 years. At one point I was eating 2 each morning, and not little diet-smart ones either. I am by no means overweight. Is it my metabolism? I like to think so and as I'm into my 40's and the muffins haven't done their harm to me yet, I guess I'm lucky or like I said, my body is just so use to them. Is the same going to be true for you and pizza?

Not as bad as other fast foods might be, Break it down into its components... bread (grain and cereal group)and cheese (Dairy), the sauce is also good, tomatoes and spices (Veggies). Toppings can vary, meats, more veggies and fruits.....
Just like everything else....in moderation it is fine.

pizza is not the healthiest food item but if you keep exercising and eating other veggies and health stuff then you are fine. it's all about balance.
