Eating smaller meals and not three large ones is a good idea! If you want to cut down on snacking, try taking up a hobby or just do something on the internet for hours- keep your hands occupied so you are not tempted to eat. Foods that fill you up are carbs- like pasta, bread and pizza (dont eat too much though). If you cant stop snacking try low cal foods like-
veggies, fruit, popcorn and pretzels

You might want to consider the following:.. First, eating snacks of fruits and berrys during the day will often times satisfy my hunger for eating.. Additionally, you can try drinking more water.. which is always good in keeping you full- and it is healthy.. Another thing to remember is that exercise (such as walking or swimming or other cardio) is very good for distracting you with regard to food.. Often times, if you can get past those initial cravings- the desire for that next meal of unhealthy food will go away. A final thought- establish your goals for wanting to lose weight (or control it) and focus on them each day!

First its good that your eating small meals throughout the day. It keeps your metabolism going. One way to help keep yourself feeling full for longer periods of time is to make sure that you always eat a type of protein (meat, tofu, peanut butter) with each meal. Just 2-4oz. Also eating fibrous vegetables (think peppers, broccholi, salad, other "green" vegetables) will help to up your fiber intake and keep you fuller longer. Its also very important to drink at least 8-10 8oz glasses of water a day. More if you exercise. Your body is made up of at least 80% water, so you really need to replace it ona consistent basis all day long.

Consult a nutritionist and a therapist.

And before you eat, stop for a moment and take a deep breath.
that will clear your mind and stop the anxiety.
And chew every bite 15/20 times.

Relax, enjoy, live the present and be happy.

Do not eat refined foods, especially refined carbs. These trigger binge behaviors and are probably the source of the problem.
