My friend just broke up with her boyfriend 1 week ago and she is feeling very depressed. Can someone give me some advice on how to make her feel better and cheer up please. I don't like to see her like this.

Tell her that she may meet a better one in the future. To lose one is not tragedy. Just improve herself in mental and physical ability.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!

take her to a game of ten pin bowling or to a fun movie. Make her laugh and support her!
don't do anything to make her think you want to hook up, coz thats the worst thing both for her and for you. You dont want to be a rebound guy and she wants a freind to rely on not another guy.- atleast at this point lol

make her feel loved and wanted. as freinds

COMFORT HER AND TELL HER EVERYTHING WILL BE OK... SHE'LL GET OVER IT SOON.. GIVE HER HUGS AND MAYBE A LITTLE GIFT... A GOOD THING TO DO IS TAKE HER SOME PLACE THAT YOU THINK WILL MAKE HER FORGET ABOUT HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND SHE'LL REALIZE HOW MUCH BETTER IT IS WITHOUT HIM (LIKE TO THE ZOO OR A BIG GARDEN OR PARK) :) IS WORKS!!!

Are your motives on the up and up??
Well...unfortunately there isn't much you can do to ease a broken heart...just time. Be there for her, listen to her, let her cry...and just give her time. She'll be back to her old self before you know it!

Comfort her, maybe make her laugh or smile, or tell her some stories that will take her mind off of what she is sad about, and focus on what you two are talking about, make some jokes :)

Take her out of her own emotion. Girls tend to be weak in that part of soul. Try attending a funeral or visiting hospital patients. Of course, if you believe into God, then pray for her before you take her into your own church meeting.

TELL HER YOUR SORRY AND YOU UNDERSTAND HOW SHE IS FEELING, TAKE HER FOR A WALK, HANG OUT WITH HER AND JUST GE A FRIEND. IN TIME HER HURT WILL PASS, AND SHE WILL THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE WHEN SHE NEEDED SOMEONE.
