You should do what you want. You don't have to eat meat just because other people say "animals taste good" just like you don't have to give it up if you don't want. Do what makes YOU happy

Since you already know what it is like to be vegetarian, you know that it takes a lot of dedication and will power to deny yourself certain foods even when others around you are eating them. Self-denial is something that I feel is important in order to grow as a personal mentally. In the end, when you see that you can follow your new dietary guidlines, it really gives you a sense of confidence and boosts your self-esteem. Perhaps this is what you need in order to grow even stronger now that you are past your depression.

I admire anyone who can resist temptation. I though about being a vegetarian many times but can never do it. I eat very little meat (probably less than 1/10 of my diet) but I cannot do without them all together.
Good for you. Go for it!

God meant us to consume meat - we are omnivores, which means we can eat plant and animal. The proteins from animals is good for us. Just limit what you consume, and don't fry. Cook the meat with minimal fat content. That may have helped contribute to your depression.
I control my depression thru:
Saw Palmetto herb supplement
Omega 3 Oils - via flaxseed
Exercise
and a guy who is crazzzzeeee about me.
Don't have time for depression anymore! Yeah!

if you believe that's how you should live your life, then yes. from a health perspective, i think being a vegetarian is just like going on some crash diet-- you limit yourself from a lot of good foods out there (by good i mean nutritous ones, as well as good tasting ones).

Um.. whether or not you want to be one is entirely up to you. If you believe it's wrong to eat meat and can stick with it, then do it.
P.S. A vegetarian diet is totally do-able. Been one for 15yrs and I haven't died yet. ;)

Its up to you, but animal protiens are one of a kind and can NOT be totally substituted with veggie products. I love veggies but I also love meats (lean meat is the best), fish and other animal protiens.
