Well you just need to keep doing it and practice on centering your adrenaline. Let it go through your performance rather than your hands, legs, body when you shake. Before you get up to perform it's always good to center yourself. Squeeze your knees together and clasp your hands. Focus. Then have fun, if you have fun when you are performing you will forget about your anxiety. It always works for me. Have fun!!!

I play music in front of people all the time. I play five instruments. Just keep practicing until you know you won't screw up. Also, think about how when someone makes a mistake in their performance, do you really care? Of course not! Just think about how noone really cares when you make mistakes. Go out and have fun, they'll enjoy the performance no matter what.

well i've had to perform a song in a band in front of quite a few people the thing i tend to find that helps me is just to not give a toss be really extrovert ive become to really not care what others my think or even say (i don't dress funny or anything) more to the point get used to performing in front of a few people then get some more people in then some more so your really comfortable with the atmosphere of then you should find it alot easier and enjoy it showing off to people what you can do. good luck for whatever your doin anyways

first i sugget you preform in front of a small group of people but first you need some tips, through out the day talk to people you know more often or people that you are only accianted with and you want to learn more about them, practice a speach or a song or preformance that you have to do in front of people in the mirror . soon you will be ready for that preformance. good luck!!

I have preformed in front of thousands and although I have a fear of speaking in front of people, when you are preforming its not you. You are your character. Not to mention when the lights dim, and the spot light is on you, you feel like you are the only person in the room and if you think that way to your preformance will be flawless. just dont think about who is watching. focus on your practices.

take deep breaths to calm your heart rate. try picturing the audience in their underwear, don't look at them, just do your job. you have to go with the flow of the performance. do not worry about what the people think, just act what you need to act out and have fun

First take several deep breathes, then try to relax. Practice your performance in your mind over and over and concentrate on the dialog or music that you are performing.
If that doesn't work, imagine everyone in their underwear. :-)

at my school they have a class just for working on that.
but one thing i do is put the music stand in front of my face so i cant see anyone.
practice really does help. and usually theyre not judging you, they just want to help.
