screwed-up thinking? AND PLEASE no BS about how they do, but the media never reports it. A Muslim Imam could call for a press conference right now in any major city and in one hour ther'd be 100 microphones.

Yesterday the Westboro Baptist church from Kansas had planned on protesting and spewing their hate at the funerals of the 5 little Amish girls in Pennsylvania. There was a huge uproar and CONDEMNATION in the Christian community as well as non-Christians. Thank God it worked and the Hate group cancelled. Otherwise God only knows what would've happened today. But the point is We Stood up for Right and now I ask you, Why can't Muslims?

Not apologize Tom- Stand up and refute and discourage and report , but their SILENCE was heard as agreement or complacency.

Sorry, Bottles, but that is the question that many people have been asking for the last two years. Not ONE straight answer that I know of. Always the stale and lame saying that they do, but no proof of that. Why should we believe it ?
The only thing we hear are the explosion of the bombs, but not a single criticism from the supposedly "many good" islams.
Where do they protest ? Hidden in their closets ?
No good
To y_a:
Bubbles, if a muslim wanted to speak against the islam terrorists, not one but MANY radio and TV stations would rush to transmit his words. That would be a must for publicity, because EVERYBODY would want to hear what he has to say. The station that could transmit his words would kill to do so

Wonderful to listen to you state that you just consider that method. I must ask despite the fact that, no longer lengthy in the past I was once looking British Muslims marching in London with indicators that stated, Britain the following Muslim nation, Blessing the Martyrs that killed unbelievers, and dying to all zionists, and so forth..and so forth... Where have been the Muslims that condemn those movements? Why did I no longer no longer see one Cleric or Muslim conserving a signal that stated the terrorists are murderers. You would possibly not think what they do, however nobody within the Muslim neighborhood is taking an lively stance in opposition to them publically both.

Seriously, what Muslim TV channels have you been watching?? How do you know Muslims do not condemn these?? You rely on the media to report Muslims' and Muslim leaders' condemnation of these terrorists, the same media that loves to paint ALL Muslims in the same color, and try to convince the world that they're ALL terrorists.... and unfortunately, it seems to get to people like you....

Do not expect Western media to deliver an un-biased image of Islam; as a matter of fact, do not expect them to give a decent image of Islam at all, it just goes against everything they've been working for...

Muslim Imams condemn these acts all the time... it seems that only Muslim communities listen to what they say... what the media survives on is spreading ideas of hatred, getting people in the country to think that there are these people, or this religion, who are out there to get all Americans... they're not interested in portraying the other side of the story, or making people in the country listen to moderate Muslims' point of view....

DO NOT BLAME MUSLIMS FOR THE MEDIA FAILURES AND BIAS...

Well, you have a lot of nerve to be asking questions like that on here! There is probably a group who protect the interests of all Muslims (headed by Jack Straw) and I'm going to call them and grass you up instantly.......

Well, over here in the UK, they're always bending over backwards to apologise, for even the smallest thing.

Hell, we didnt make the Irish apologise everytime the IRA attacked, so why should they?

Why didn't the US declare a war on terrorism against the IRA? It's about as relevant.
