can anyone tell me a bible scripture that supports or refutes a woman SEEKING a husband not waiting for one?

The Bible actually supports the idea of a woman waithing for a husband, but I don't think you will find it is a plain simple statement, it is buried more in theological exegesis. It is a general teaching of the Bible for all Christians to wait upon the Lord for all things in life. To go after things ahead of time is most likely to bring problems.
