Because there has never been anyone to have such an impact on the entire world. 1.5 billion followers. The only major religious book that remains unchanged without any versions and is still considered one of the greatest books of all time.
Under him, we had the first freedom of religion in a relious empire, first global trading, first of everything man.
Islam brought Europe out of the dark ages!
Muhammad's (s) life is being emulated by Muslims around the world today. We wish we could be more like him. He was the perfect human, but in the end he was still just a human and death took him away like it will take us away.
EDIT: You don't need to take my word for it. Go search and consistently christians, jews, hindus, they all recognize the impact Muhammad (s) had. And if you knew anything about his passion for peace, you wouldn't be posting retarded links like that.
