This is just an idea, but it makes a great cup of coffee.

You need a small saucepan. Select your cup or mug, and fill it three quarters full with milk, then top up with water.

Place this in the saucepan, over a low heat for about five minutes. When the milk/water is getting warm, add one and a half teaspoons of a good quality instant coffee. If you like it sweet, add one or two teaspoons of brown sugar. Keep stirring until nice and hot, to avoid a skin forming, then pour back into your cup or mug. Try to avoid it boiling.

Then sit back and enjoy.

I really enjoy French Vanilla Cappuccinos, Starbucks makes the best, they are sweet but also give you the same jolt as coffee (without the horrible bitter taste). When I first tried coffee I put lots of cream and sugar in it and it still tasted awful - just experiment with different types of hot drinks until you find one that you enjoy!

Trust me, you can live a normal and productive life without giving in to the evils of the coffee nerds. I am living proof that it can be done. It seems like a total waste of time to spend literally hours a day sipping on a disgusting sludge that came from a filthy pot and you get to spend several dollars for a single jumbo vente mama mega size styrofoam cup with a handy brown paper holder thingy to keep your hand cool. Don't do it.

Perhaps you just haven't had correctly made coffee, because if you had had good coffee then you wouldn't be saying such atrocious words toward my lovely lovely coffee.
Let me just say that coffee is a wonder-tonic of greatness that has no parallel and will always beat any opponent no matter how many times they challenge it.
DO NOT INSULT THE COFFEE.

Start with good coffee. Brew it strong. Serve it fresh. If using cream use half and half instead of the powdered stuff.

I make my older kids coffee drinks (they like it sweet). Use the same strong fresh coffee. Let it cool. Add ice cream, ice, half & half, chocolate syrup and sugar to taste. Blend until frothy.

Try flavored coffee's. Gevalia has wonderful flavors, during the fall season they have Pumpkin which is awesome I just add sugar to it. If I have regular coffee I add tons of sugar and creamer, french vanilla creamer is great or cinnamon hazelnut.

You, my friend, have obviously never been lured into Starbucks and succumbed to the might that is a caramel or white chocolate latte! They are very sweet and you won't taste the coffee...

Forget the tea! Don't listen to these fools! I reccomend adding milk and sugar; if that fails then try different kinds like Americano, Cappuciono, Mocha - drop by starbucks and try a white chocolate mocha with whipped cream. 'Tis heaven in a mug.

If you add chickory root to the coffee it helps for a smoother taste,or add other things to it like chocolate syrup or vanilla. But one good thing to help keep you awake and not drive you nuts is Green Tea.
