My 3year old son has some kind of bite on his ear... almost the whole..."floppy" part of his ear is red and swollen.....

NEOSPORIN (The cream, not the ointment).......... Seriously. But first of all symptoms, you didn't list if he had any symptoms, any vomitting? Is he in pain? Is he crying? Are there blotches on his skin? Anything unusual? If so, take him to a doctor..... If nothing and it just looks like a normal spider bite on a baby (small) ear, then put some Neosporin on it, I swear by it for everything from zits, to spider bites, to rashes, EVERYTHING........

If you have bendryl cream or bendryl elixir give him the recommened dose and then try to get him an appointment to see his doctor to make sure the bite isn't infected. You can apply a warm compress to the area that is swollen and red, that should help, also if you have a potato, cut it up and place a piece of it on the bite and that will draw the pain and swelling out of it.

mix tomato sauce and honey together in a cup and aplly it to the redness. the swelling should go down in a day or 2
