what about Maria's mexican restaurant in Des plaines near the Library? any good?

Lived in Mt Prospect and Des Plaines for 10 years...Mykonos is pretty good. Now it is a bit too chilly to enjoy the outdoor garden i recommend you sit out there next summer with a nice glass of wine. You may find some better eats in the city (Santorini or Greek Island). If you don't want to venture to the city there is a Greek Island in Lombard. Maria's in Des Plaines is pretty good, same owner as the one in the city, I think her son runs it. But there is nothing like the original.
