nope were not losing this war, we lost it long ago. Vietnam ring a bell anyone or how about "those who cannot remember the past are doomed too repeat it"? yeah look get the troops out we lost before the first soldier had his feet on the ground, we're not fighting a country or a group, we are fighting a religion. The one thing people will die for is their religion. The crusades were not about spreading christianity, they were about establishing a trade route to the east. This war in Iraq is about securing oil, plain and simple.

Once again we are in a war but its not a war of military might but that of words and who to blame. We Demo-crates would like to think it was all the Republicans that got us into Iraq and even blame the President. Although IMO I do think that if it was the special services giving the wrong info to the President then it might be a good time changes special services enrollment of any type of info gathering.
But for the war of words its us making a mockery of this conflict in Iraq. The Military is trained in what to say and what not to say. My son was in the First wave to Iraq and spent 13 Mo's there and was ordered not to give out any type of information that might be taken as good or bad. In other words the troops were given a gag order. AS for the media they to are under a certain type of gag order, Some people that are there are sending or trying to send out pictures and information to the public by way of the web sites You just have to do a little hunting in the web's to find anything.
Are we losing the war in Iraq/ there is no war in Iraq if you were to believe what Bush said that the war and mission in Iraq was done. No more war, just a lot of people losing the lives in a police action/ whats the difference our troops are dieing the people of Iraq are dieing, war or police action???
Can we win this police action no I don't think so history is playing the same game again in another police action (Veit Nam). We didn't win then we won't win this one either. So lets just get the troops home safe so we don't lose any more American Lives..

Well to be fair... We kill hundreds more Iraqi each time we hear one of those stories. Civilians included in that. Its not a battle that can be won with military occupation, how ever our not so intelligent leaders will tell you so. As you can see, its worked AMAZINGLY so far. Also some will say that 150,000 die each year of natural causes, and that Vietnam killed almost 50,000 troops. I would like each one of those people to visit someone who has had a family member die, and allow them to kick them in the balls. A loss of life, is a loss of life. Its never good, and honestly? NEVER necessary. People will claim that it is, but those are the people that haven't figured out a peaceful solution. Violence is an easy answer for someone less intelligent.

One of the problems..is the mindset of the United States.
You just can't go in and tell a country/countries...that their form of government stinks along with their thousands of years old culture.
To them, we must seem like young, little pipsqueaks. Our American culture is barely out of the baby stage compared to theirs.
It is a rough part of the world...hard to make a living....so the people culturely developed to survive. Clan vs.. Clan.
I believe the best we can hope for is an agreement by all factions inthe country to civilly Agree to Disagree, and still have a working government.
Best the US can do, is to understand the diverse culture over there and to try to persuade all factions to work together for the country...whether they agree with each other or not as far as Clan wars.
Just MHO

Well good Question since long ago G.W. Bush announced the victory and an end to "the war" this was just to cut the pay to the military as we are no longer at war we will not pay war time pay rate,, now what we are is in a occupation or police action mode and you can't lose at that, just people keep getting killed is all. I do support our troops i just wish G.W. would support them too!

YES they invaded with no plan for what to do afterward, afterall Cheney said we'd be greeted as liberators, but we're seen as occupiers and the violence will not end until our troops come home
too bad they didn't invade IraN, maybe they just spelled IraQ wrong, kinda makes ya wonder doesn't it?
things will not get better anytime soon, too bad all those poor innocent Iraqi's are suffering because of our idiot president . . .

Another article fabricated by Erudite.....
The USA is hurting badly. (NOT in the actual article.)
The rest of the article is eliminated.
The USA is having a very tough time making headway. (NOT in the actual article.)
Erudite, you're one very sick hateful person. If you want people to see your point, the least you could do is quit lying and fabricating news stories. You're a criminal. It's copyright material. You have to lie and create things to try to get attention and make people see your point of view. One day, you'll get yours. What a blessed day that'll be.

Every soldier that signed up knew there was a risk. Including those 13. They died defending what they loved, being this Country. Obviously we're not doing this for nothing, and IMO we are winning this War. Sometimes there must be sacrafices for things that we want to achieve.

you particularly could examine certainly one of the books or articles on the difficulty. The Republicans have already lost the conflict and are overlaying for that by using blaming absolutely everyone, yet exceptionally Democrats and "Liberals". No forethought and dashing to conflict has led to mllions of folk to die or grow to be completely disabled and maimed for the period of Republican warmongering. complete countries are in ruins. The Republicans strongarmed Democrats to flow alongside with conflict and not international relatives. international relatives is a robust tactic of the Democratic social gathering, yet Republicans have fostered the theory that international relatives is weak spot and consequently, Democrats are susceptible. this isn't any longer authentic. It takes a stable man or woman to barter a useful act of international relatives. It takes very susceptible people to easily flow to conflict and drop bombs. Republicans are very susceptible and have created a international against people. Why? For money and oil the superb way for the international to get alongside (now that we've the Republicans international financial gadget in place) is to apply international relatives and to give up bombing people. enable good Democrats and good Republicans connect mutually. the present Republican leaders, who concept they could shop up the facade continuously, could be thrown out for their evil acts against the international and for the confusion they have led to in the yank people..

Truth is.. we're losing and winning. It seems odd, but think about it.. we're losing soldiers week by week.. but so is the opposition. Anyway, its quite unclear as to why we're fighting a war in the first place to many people.
