It's certainly not JUST because he is a Christian. It would be safe to say that a good number of people dislike him because he lets Christianity be a MAJOR force in his decision making.
BUT it doesn't work that way when over 80% of Congress is some flavor of Christianity! That's much higher than the percentage of (practicing) Christians in the U.S, over 59%.
So, a population of less than .01% (Congress) is represented as 80% of the Christian population, while the other 99.09% really only represents about 59% of the Christian population. The (current) leaders are TOO Christian to represent for the whole! There is a serious imbalance here!
AND don't get me started about the racial imbalance or the gender imbalance, which is FAR more skewed than the religious one.
So, yes, we NON-Christians are a little pissed that we are being led by a Christian-minded President with Christ at the helm of the House and Senate. They don't speak for us when it comes to these Christianity-driven issues!

People don't hate him because he is a Christian. That may be one of the few reasons that some people like him. People had him because he has narrow focus and is the type of person who hates to ever admit he's wrong and he has our country in a real mess and the list goes on.

People don't hate the Pres because he's a Christian. They hate him because he uses the power of God/Jesus to make his statements and policies right. He's not the only one to do it - many many many politician borrow the power of God. Hillary Clinton is another. Eeerrrgg It's as frustrating as seeing everyone go into rehab when they get busted for acting badly or unlawfully.

People don't hate him because he is Christian. They dislike him because he is an ignorant, illiterate, poor-spoken "country boy" who still makes our country look stupid when he speaks, even though he is not allowed to speak publicly without a scripted speech. He's a puppet. The leader of our country, the Commander in Chief, is NOT ALLOWED to speak publicly without someone telling him what to say and he still manages to screw it up and make us all look like fools to the rest of the world. Aside from that, have you heard of Iraq?

I don't hate him because he's a Christian.
I hate him because I don't like the way he runs this country, the way he handles himself, or the legislation he supports.
