in my oppinion the look ugly on almost every body.

Dreadlocks only look nasty if the person doesn't take good care of them. They are very high maintenance and the individual needs to upkeep them daily with the right products and such!

You should go do some reseach on the background of dread locs. They have a lot of meaning in some places. You look it up rather than asking a bunch of people that don't know anything about them.

i think they look cool on some people i used to think they look like logs of crap.But then I did research saw some pics of people with bad @ss cool dreads and I was like 'awesome'.I think some people pull it off I like colorful dreads.I think people say dreads are nasty and dirty actually there hard for people to maintain.Dreads rock on some individuals !

I used to do hair AND YES!! you will have a huge build up and oils and just alot of nasty things! Don't do it

they do not look nasty, they look messy, in a nice way.....i do not like them hanging into the eyes. that bugs me big time. [whoppi goldberg used to wear them all into her eyes, i wrote her and told her to knock it off.] bring them down to the eyebrow level or sweep them to the side...she did and now it looks great to me......

When they are neat, they're fine. But you can tell when someone doesn't take care of them.
