Age has nothing to do with it. Why does she feel it does? Ask her that question. I bet she doesn't have a good excuse. You can't help who you love. You love them for a reason. Don't give up. You have been together this long already. Pursue her in romantic ways. Convince her that you love her and that she loves you. Good luck. Sam

Oh wow, I guess the best thing you can do is be honest with her. Heck, I know if I were a 60 year old woman, and a 34 year old guy were interested in me, then i'd jump at the chance! And i'm sure she will as well. Just be honest and upfront with her about your feelings, and also try to help her with any doubts she might have about the very big difference in age between the two of you. Good luck!

wow that really surprising! i can kind off understand the situation she is going through. you are young, only 34, you have your time to marry, have kids, start a new life. she is old, cant have kids any more, a big chunk of her life has gone by and with you and her its not that compatible. however, if you truly truly love her, you have to make her understand that you are willing to take this consequences with you to be with her, like for example, having kids (unless you do adoption).

my sister who is 32 just married a year ago to her husband who is 52! yeah its striking as well, but he has never gotten married, no kids, nothing and he even looks no older than 40. my sister was determined to confront the issues of being with him for the rest of her life knowng that there would be a 20 year gap...big issue, but you can overcome it if you are determined to do it.

tell her all of this and i hope things turn out for the better.

Just come Right out, & ask her wjat he feelingd are for you, & does she think there is anymore in the future between the two of you, other than just freindship.
Whatever her answer is, the rest will be up to you.
