How can you know him, the man lived over 2000 years ago. A lord is a male who has power or authority, who made this Jesus guy a lord, what kinda power or authority does he have, I thought he was a Jewish carpenter??

Laura, I have never met you and therefore I don't believe that I could love you, even if I read a book about you, I would have to meet you first. I have never met Jesus Christ although I have read books about him, but I don't love him, I like him for his works and his deeds but love, no. I also like John Kennedy for his works and deeds the same for Roosevelt, Gandhi, Dr. Salk,
Cousteau, etc., but love, again no.

YES! I only wish I could love Him for others. He has helped me through the hardest times in my life. My goal in life is to serve him and please him in all that I do. I want that for everyone.

yes i know him. he is my best friend because he died for me to forgive me of all my wrongdoings. and because he died for me, i can now live with him in heaven when i die. i can be with him forever and ever. he loves everyone more than i can ever imagine. that's why he died for everyone. I think that is an awesome thing for someone to do. Sacrifice his life for yours.
