Shampooing isn't going to help. And it depends on how much hair is falling out. If you average 50-100 strands a day, then that is normal. But if you are losing more than that, you should go see a doctor because you might have a disorder called alopecia. There is also a product out that salons carry called Nioxin, which is an all natural treatment that comes in a shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment which cleanses the scalp and allows the hair to grow in thicker. Trust me, I'm a hair stylist!

Sometimes, hair falling out can mean that you're not intaking essential vitamins and minerals. Try to eat lots of green leafy vegetable rich in calcium and iron. These minerals will greatly prevent hair loss. Also, if you're not eating proteins lately, you might
want to include some in your diet. Eat eggs every now and then for healthier, shinier hair with more volume.

if you have long hair its pretty normal for hair to come out as your new hairs are growing.
my hairdresser assured me this because i have the same problem. it should only become a worry to you if you find your hair is actually thinning.
