God is an archaic construct designed by primitive man to explain the things in his world that he didn't understand, including why the human condition is full of so much suffering and death. There does not appear to be any valid evidence to demonstrate the existence of such a supernatural being. So, it seems highly improbable that such a being even exists.

God is an imaginary friend for grown-ups. I'm not trying to take away from the influence or the importance of Christianity's mysterious front man, or front woman. The Omnipotent one has been a very powerful and driving force in many a persons life, and on the other side of that coin, a lot of really terrible and atrocious acts have been done in the name of GOD (see Crusades). Also, being a skeptical agnostic I take a little more convincing than others. But, hey that's just my opinion. Enjoy.

I'm not sure how to define it, honestly. From my experience (and that isn't much) it isn't Anything like what I see other people say. In my opinion it is more like energy, rather than some "intelligent" being floating in the sky looking down on us, making a list in a book on who gets to be with it and who doesn't. I find that whole scenario rather silly.
As for being convinced, it is from certain experiences... again, these are things I can't really define or explain. I can't even find a good enough explanation for myself. But I certainly don't think it wants worship or even to be recognized. It doesn't have an ego... unlike the images of God(s) that I see other people explain.

I am convinced that there is a God because I look at nature and see that an intelligent designer must have created it. It couldn't have just happenned. I believe that God is a loving, non-biased God who is all powerful and all knowing. I don't think that I have the ability to define Him.

There are so many things I could say about my heavenly father but for now I will tell you this. Think about the experience in your life that made you feel the most inner warmth, peace, happiness and love. Magnify it a billion times and it might come close to the love that God is because God is love and so much more. I am convinced because I have literally felt the presence of God, I have seen a documented miracle but most of all because there is evidence of God's existence in my life everyday.

God is a spirit. He has 4 attributes. They are Power, Wisdom, Love and Justice. His personal name is Jehovah. His names means "he causes to become". So, look at the universe, earth, and humans. These pieces of creation prove to me that he exists and has created all of this. He caused all of this to become into existence. Furthermore, if the preciseness of creation were not created by an intelligent designer, then how could we land a man on the moon much less have a perfect orbit/tilt/rotation and exact mileage from the sun to sustain life. Yes, there is a creator and I hope you can understand my definition of him.

God is an eternal supreme allpowerful being... I'm convinced that there is one because of the world around us... a magnificant design/creation requires a designer... even if evolution is true someone had to make the cosmic soup that exploded in the big bang

Lets face it people, God is a mystery that will (or will not) be explained in the next phase of our existence. If there is a next phase. One thing for sure: Life cannot come from non-life. It would be a damn shame if the Atheists were right. But on the bright side, they wont be able to gloat about it.

I define Him as love. I know He lives because I don't believe that man made this planet, he only inhabit it. If man was all that powerful and smart, there would be no need to build air planes to fly we could visit other worlds with out trying to make a space ship. Man can not keep anything straight. Do you really believe in man? And you can see him.

If anything, God is the sum total of all the mathematical laws of the universe, even those laws we do not yet understand (which still mystify us, like quantum mechanics, etc). The part I have not figured out is how this can still be consistent with our free will.
