+ Most likely you will get the MAX that can be handed out as a % of the money goes back to funding the constabulary which gave you the ticket.
You go and pay, or someday it will catch up with you.

A fine, court costs and probably a lecture. Speeding in a school zone is a serious issue. And if you were speeding as you say innocently, that means you were not paying attention, that is really scary. Thank God you did not hit someones child. Please try to be a little more careful and pay attention while driving. There are innocent people on the road. "I surely would not tell the judge i was speeding innocently in the school zone your honor" He may get angry and send you to traffic school. And if you are a juvenile the judge probably will give you a lecture and send you to traffic school and you will also pay for that and loose your license for a few days, varies 30-60-90 days. Good luck and please slow down. God Bless

Most likely you can expect a stiff fine. By the way, how do you speed innocently?
