What you are facing is very sad and stressful; I understand these feelings, because my father passed away when I was 13 years old.
If I could go back to the months before my father's death, I would talk in depth with my father about his life, dreams, how he felt the day I was born. I would tell him...what a positive influence he had on my life, and how grateful I am to him for all his love and how blessed I was to have a loving, christian father.I will be thinking of him everyday for the rest of my life, and especially, on those special days, my first prom, high school/college graduation, wedding day, and the birth of my children,Most importantly....I would tell him....how much I love him, and I know one day we will be together again...in heaven.
Don't let your fears..keep you from sharing things with your father...because..once he is gone...you'll regret it.
Good Luck and God Bless you and your father. :)

Hi, Chris....still stressing, huh? I am so sorry.
You know, you need someplace where you can go to unload. Go to your school guidance counselor and let them know your situation. Everything you say is confidential and you can vent to someone who may be able to take some of the strain off.
Maybe conversation with your grandma may help. She's going through this, too.
Hon, I know you feel you've lost all control. Try to do some things that empower you and your dad. Check out the nutritional support. Give yourselves a tool you can fight with.
Ask Mom to rent a couple of comedies. Ask your parents to watch them with you, pop pop corn, have a good laugh and be with the folks you love. Laughter strengthens the immume system.
All of you could use the distraction and the laugh.
Just keep breathing, ok? Find a quiet spot where you can let your head clear to nothing. Focus on the light and give God the Father your family. He will hold you all in his hands. Ask God to bless and keep your family. Tell him how very sad you are and have a good cry. If this isnt the time to cry I don't know when is. Let all of your emotions have a moment of your time, and then let them go to God. This worked well for me when I was so scared I couldnt' stop shaking. I just had to face the fact that my life was in someone else's hands. I like to think it was in God's hands. That was when I felt safe again.

I understand just how you feel. I wish you and your Dad the best. I will keep you in my prayers. There is nothing harder than losing someone you love with all your heart. I know because my daughter fought cancer for 2 years and I lost her a little over a year ago. I still want to throw up. Keep the faith and your Dad is very strong.

Very sorry to hear that, if you know of anyone else who has parents that have had serious medical problem like your father's it might be good to talk with them about how they dealt with it even if it is someone to share your pain and worries with then it will help. Also understand that this is really tough time for you to be caught in between a boy and a man going through all the emotional changes that we all have to go through, so as hard as it seems, try to relax and keep calm while hoping for the best.
