A good friend has contacted a well-known 'channellor" and has attempted to contact departed loved-ones. At $200./session, I find this totally outrageous. She's done this on two previous occassions, and has third session booked for the 18th of this month. What particularly upsets me as well is this 'channellor' has told her that the departed wants her to register with a particular on-line dating service so she can meet someone, get on with her life, which will complete her destiny here on earth then she'll be able to join him in Heaven forever without having to come back here. My late friend died very suddenly, what about him?? He didn't get to finish his destiny here on earth!!! I knew my friend like the back of my hand and NEVER would he suggest that anyone register with an online dating service...NEVER!! What's extremely difficult is that this person is believing most of what she's being told by the 'channellor'. I'm disturbed for days when the topic arises.

Looking from the chanelling cost,....it is purely bussiness,...the evil thing..is taking advantage from people that suffered from the lost of love ones.
this activities,..will create dependencies for ur friend,..to book more and more...

This kind of "channeling" would certainly fall into the evil category from my perspective, since it's clearly a scam. Charging $200 per session really is outrageous, not to mention reprehensible. The advice your friend is being given doesn't even make sense, by the sound of it, and is certainly not worth the price. You have good reason to be concerned.
It sounds like your friend is probably having quite a bit of difficulty letting go of the person she's lost. It's disgusting that this bogus channeler is taking advantage of that. Maybe you could try to gently point out the discrepancies between how you know your deceased friend would have behaved and what the channeler is saying; or if your friend is convinced that she needs to contact the deceased person's spirit, maybe you could help her have some kind of "seance" or something like that to say goodbye - more a symbolic thing than anything else, but you wouldn't have to present it to her that way - so that she would no longer feel the need to go to the channeler. I don't know the details of the situation, but it may be enough for her if she feels like she can contact him herself if and when she needs to, rather than having to rely on outside help to do so (since she seems to believe in channeling and that sort of thing).
Just a couple of suggestions, I don't know if they'll be useful or not. I wish you luck with helping your friend.

I do know a woman that can channel, and much more, she help me, no charge, this woman helped find a dead girl in NY and help police find the killer, she is truly gifted, she never charges money.
These others that basically do it for the money may be the false ones that give others a bad name.
Why do people always say that Spirits ghost are evil, most all are not evil, I experienced Six so far and felt the presences of so many, they have always been very nice Angel like, and they touch nicely to. I can either feel what they think or they can communicate that way, God communicates that way too, I also felt his presence. Only one spoke out loud to me.
Some of these people are sincere and some aren't, so that makes it tricky business.

Channelling is a horrible thing to rely on.
It's like dialing a random radio station and taking what ever you hear as truth.
You have NO idea of who or WHAT this person is channelling.
Read Det. Ralph Sarcchie's book "Beware the Night" just for an idea of how many innocent folks have been suckered in by something pretending to be a "ghost" in need of comfort. But end up being something demonic.
Just because you pay a psychic $3,000, does that mean you get to talk directly to God? No. You're just being HAD.

It is dangerous because they are not communicating with dead loved ones at all but with demons who have knowledge of the spiritual realm and are experts at trickery. My mom and I had many discussions about the subject. She thought that it was possible and I thought it was not. Both of us being born again Christians and knowing our destination at death we agreed that if God allowed contact from heaven that whoever died first would contact the other in a manner that we would know for certain it was them. My mom went on to be with the Lord in 1997, Nine (9) years ago and I have not seen or heard from her since. I am sure that I will one day see her again in heaven.

Well, you've got 2 options.
1) The person is a charlatan, in which case, the sessions are only emtionally & financially harmful, or,
2) The person is a true seer, indwelled & controlled by Satan's power, in which case, the sessions are drawing your friend into an area of life that she has no power to control (that of Jesus' Name).
Neither you nor your friend may be Christians, but there's one problem with that, as it concerns the activities in which she's involved herself: the only way to drive out demons is in the Name of Jesus. The only force controlling fortune telling, etc. is Satan.

I understand your frustration & concern. Unfortunately, there are people who prey upon people like your freind. An ethical psychic/channeler would not let your freind become 'addicted' to her. And... I find it Really hard to belive that meeting a man (or a woman) completes anyones destiny, or ends their incarnating life cycles...sounds like whooie to me. Its sad to me because there are ligitmate, ethical psychic/channelers - Im one of them.
Im sorry to say that your friend will have to figure this one out for her self. Unfortunately, Ive noticed many people become dependant on psychcis - and I think that is unhealthy.
Im sorry for the loss of your other freind.

It is extremely dangerous.
Your friend sounds like she is still in mourning and this evil person is taking advantage of her. Try to get her away from this. Maybe you can help her find some other activities that will occupy her time but ultimately, she just needs time to heal.
I have said a prayer for her.

This channeler gets a kick back from the on line dating service. This channeler is not on the level. I would be concerned too.

I am a Pagan Priest, and my wife is a medium.
THIS PERSON IS RIPPING YOU OFF.
a medium cannot just pick any ole siprit and bring it to her.
and at 200 bucks a session,, this is rediculous in the extreme.
you have found yourself a very good con artist and nothing more.
please do not waste any more of your hard earned money. i am very sure that there are much better things for you to spend it on.

OK i am a medium and do speak with spirit
however .. i do not call spirit and can never promise which spirit will pop in
anyone who claims to be able to do so ... is talking nonsense
they can only open and hope
i am concerned that this " channeler ) is messing with your friends free will
i know for sure that spirit DO NOT interfere with our lives and nothing is predestined
even if they felt you were going in a specific direction .. they would only give advice .. not tell you where to go or what to do
i feel you are right to be concerned over this xx
