i dont get why people get full body tatoo's when no one see's them?

I have a Back Tattoo that covers 3/4 starting just below the last long rib and all the way up onto the base of the neck. 28 hours of work tell a story of where I grew up and places I've been along the way. I've used symbols for me and places. It's a history of my life. Why did I get it. It started with one piece and grew as I did. Will I do a full body probably not. But as things happen I like to remind myself of where I've been and not to repeat my mistakes. My tattoos are for me alone and for those I share them with. No one can see mine unless I want them to, or ask. I'm not trying to make a statement, I do that all by myself.

People get their tattoo's for different reasons. They are usually really personal reasons and in the age that we are in the body has become a human canvas and there is a story behind every tattoo. Why full body? They have allot to tell.

People get tatts for different reasons. To many they are works of art and the only form of art you can actually take with you. Some think of it as therapy, helping in a healing process. Some may be to honor someone or something. There are as many reasons people do this as there are tattoo's.

I have a tattoo behind my left ear that I can't see without the use of two mirrors, and yet I love it.
People consider their bodies their canvas. Most people that have body art done, have their whole lives written large FOR THEMSELVES. Anyone who gets tattoos (beyond the usual teenage stupidity stage), gets them for themselves alone. They don't give a damn if the world sees them, nor if they approve or not.
