The apostle Paul. Paul totally commited his life to the following and testimony to Christ Jesus. Once a pharasee of great standing he persecuted the early christians. After his conversion on the Damascus road, he carried those memories and regrets with him and overcame his past through total faith and commitment to Christ Jesus. Paul, the greatest apostle carried the Good news of Jesus to the gentiles.

I am a Christian and I will be living on earth if I can remain faithful to the end of my life or the end of this system. ("The meek will inherit the earth...") I look forward to meeting John the Baptist because the Bible says he was the greatest of all those who did not go to heaven. I also want to talk with Noah about how he managed to keep his wife and all of his children plus their wives in the faith and working together. I can hardly wait.

Heaven is a mystery, and since no one has been there and come back to tell about it, what can I say? People need to stop thinking that we are going to be meeting a bunch of people in heaven. When we die, if there is a spirit life, we will be spirits. Personally, I don't care. Do the best you can while on earth and don't worry about the afterlife if it exists.

My loved ones. Chippy108 is right, there is not supposed to be any sadness in heaven and there won't be. The reasons why someone we loved did not make us will be revealed to us and we will have the capability of understanding why, without sorrow. Additionally, you will know your loved ones up there as someone that was special in your life. Not that they were a husband, spouce or parent, etc. Everyone has to be equal.
Rose, God knows whos hearts are pure, so just asking for forgiveness will not save you.

My twelve year old son, who went to be with the Lord eight years ago. His name is Paul-John, and he gave his life to the Lord, just days before his accident.
My parents also are in Heaven. There will be great rejoicing on that day.

I would enjoy seeing the people that taught me about Jesus,
The people I taught about Jesus.
And really the ones I never knew I had an influence on, that they say thank you. (a little concieted, but this is hypothetical)

It is going to be such a pleasure to meet the Propherts of old, and of course the first ones will be your family members who make it. But we have to get there first. To be able totalk with them personally and tell them our thanks for sharing the Gosple of God in the times of old that we came to study by in our days that we lived and to let them know that we saw these things fulfilled and it came to past as they said it would, and that it proved that what God told them made a difference in my life.
