And don't say Hooter's or Buffalo Wild Wings wings are good, because they are not.

In Buffalo we have higher quality "Actual" Wings. They are large, and everybody puts their own twist on it.

Anchorbar is over rated. Best wing place in Buffalo is Duff's. Second is BarBill.

Make your own deep fry or bake your chicken wings make the sauce in a sauce pan by adding 1 stick of melted butter to about 10 tblsp of hot sauce(I like Frank's Red hot) 1 clove of garlic minced. salt to taste. then place wings in 13x9 pan while sauce is cooking when sauce is done drizzle over chicken wingsturning the wings to coat evenly.( By the way I am in agreement about Hooters).

There is a sports bar in a casino, a pizza shop, and a bar in downtown KC that have excellent wings. Casino and pizza shop are the thick, meaty kind with not a lot of extra sauce dripping off them (unlike the mini "wings" they have at BWW). The bar downtown, has both parts of the wing still together and juicy, spicey sauce.

Muster your young butt down to Texas. A little town south of Dallas off I 35 exit 387 Italy. Great wings, turkey, beef brisket, and deer. For r some of you from up North you may never have had Deer, but cooked right it's as tasty as beef.

The places your reference as poor do pretty well by their recipes, though I think Hooters could serve them raw and no one would notice.

When your taste is this discriminating you should hone your skills and cater to them yourself. Make your own sauce, you may become the next KC Masters.

Bon apetite!

Probably because they don't use the original inventors' sauce (the Bellissimo's Anchor Bar sauce)
