I don't want to come off as a junkie, but flying is soo much easier with them... Any ideas?

There's no "semi"-legal way to get Xanax without a prescription. Why don't you want to see a doctor? It might cost more to go to the doctor, but you'd be saving yourself a lot of legal trouble by going through proper channels to get meds like Xanax.

I dont think getting prescriptions "semi-legally" is a good idea. I would advise you to go on and visit a family doctor, let them know you are having anxiety with flying, and that you have used the medicine in the past. ( I am hoping legally). Then, let them decide if it is best for you, and write a prescription for it. The last thing you want to do is have a questionable supply of Xanax and get stopped and questioned over it while traveling. Additionally, Xanax has some potential side effects and mixed with the wrong medicine or taken improperly, can be very hazardous. Its best to use this medicine under a doctors supervision.

Xanax is highly addictive and best left to the professionals. Discuss your issues with flying with your physician. He/She may be able to prescribe you Xanax or another anti-anxiety medication.
Side note, if you get caught with any prescription medication without a prescription, you can be arrested. It's not worth the risk... especially since airliners are cracking down on loose medications.
