no u don't need a letter, u don't need anything. even if u were still muslim but wanted to "check out" a christian church, it would be ok.

if i were u, i would find a church (easier if it was with a friend), and go to a sunday service. see if you like it.... and try to be friendly and open minded. i understand that u may be kind of sensitive since u are changing not only just ur religion, but possibly some of ur culture...so just remember to be open minded and ready to learn and ask questions..the more interested u are, the more u will find things out, for the betterment of YOU. :) good luck, and God Bless.... i hope u find strength thru this change.

if u have time, try reading the Bible..... Romans 5-8 is one of my favorites. it teaches that thru Jesus we are cleansed of all sin, regardless of past mistakes. as long as u continue to try to do good, be good and learn, become better, each day, and Rejoice in your life, love, happines, in Jesus' sacrifice, u will see what a blessing it is to be here. :) good luck~

If you can do the following you don't need a letter. After you read this, do what it says, print it out, and take it to a bible believing church and give to the pastor and tell him you did this and would like to be baptized as a born again christian. Tell him you would like a good christian mentor to ask questions of. The pastor may become your mentor.

So do the following

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

If you've experienced a conversion form Islam to Christianity, first, congratulations! Welcome to the family!

Now, it's time to follow the example of Jesus, & be baptized. Find a good Bible-teahing/believing church. Pray that God will lead you where He wants you. Once there, you can be assured that you will be welcomed with open arms & will feel more than convicted to be baptized & join the congregation.

You'll want to talk to he pastor about making your public profession of faith. Once you've been baptized, there will be some record of the occassion (usually a certificate).

May you allow God to lead & guide you in your new freedom....

The minister may want to baptize you or have you make a formal profession of faith. Give it a shot. The worst that can happen is that he will say "no" and then you can try a different church.

Ask a bible believing church (Southern Baptist, full gospel, etc.)
I don't know why you need a letter of conversion.
Ask the person who lead you to Jesus (if he is a minister) or who he would recommend.

You don't need a letter. There are no strings attached with God. He sent His Son to do the dirty work. Ask Him for help - He will direct you. :)
