He constantly calls me its been over two years since i've been with him i was with him for a year, i mean i don't really mind calling him but i know he has a girlfriend and she's pregnant but he still wants to pick me up and chill with him its like he's trying to rub it in my face i don't care because i'm in a relationship and i'm happy and he knows that, and everytime i tell him i don't want to hang or chill with him he gets mad and hangs up and then calls me a couple weeks later and says the same thing? i don't mind staying friends, but i have no feelings for him, but i don't think its right that he has a baby on the way and i don't want to disrespect my boyfriend or his girlfriend, i wish i could tell his girlfriend because no girl derserves that especially if she pregnant!! I don't know what to do and i can't change my house number !!

I don't mind him telling me whats going on his life when he calls by why do you have to pick me up to have a normal conversation? I don't understand what he can't just say on the phone, i mean he tells me he still likes me and he wishes i was pregnant with his baby but i don't have no feelings for him whatsoever i just want to be friends if that

Don't answer and don't talk to him. Eventually he will get the message. My ex has been my ex for almost 6 years and more recently he's been calling me a lot. He just got engaged and likes to rub my nose in it. I have his number programmed into my phone so when he calls I know that it is him and I don't pick up. He hasn't called in 3 months now...

Why can't you change your house number? You could get a cell phone instead.

Or better yet, when he calls, tell him you don't live there anymore, you moved away or went on vacation. Or, even better, have your boyfriend answer the phone as much as possible and tell the ex you are busy.

He doesn't want to be friends, he just wants to control you somehow.

Sounds like he is a stalker, and there are laws to protect you from such a person. Let him know the next time he calls that, if he calls you again, you are going to file a report with the police, and try to get a restraining order against him. Safe bet that will be the last you will ever hear from this bum.

Tell him in plain direct English that you do not wish to hang out with him or yak with him on the phone any more. Be direct! Don't sugar coat it. Men understand directness.

If you want to, let him know that the next time he calls you, you're going to rat him out to his current girlfriend. Kind of nasty, but maybe it's called for.

well here is the thing, kept telling it to his face and he will stay mad. then he will call few week later, tell it to his face again. then as this continue he will move on with his life and his baby will be born, then he has to take care of the baby and has no time to chat. so the key is letting him know and staying a way

He's not interested in being a friend, he wants sex from you. While it's true that you may not be able to change your phone number, you are in charge of answering your phone and deciding who you will and will not talk to. Your ex is not worth one minute of your time.
