If you like serenity and natural beauty, you will like Kauai. It is the garden island after all. For serenity without common conceptual beauty, hike the volcano on the Big Island.

The last time I was in Kauai, I was living there for 3 monthes, and I was 12 I think, not a good age to appreciate the island, because the island really is about Trees, and greenery, hence the name "the garden isle"
